(4)no，none，no one和nothing

　　①no=not any/not a(an)，形容词词性，在句中作定语，修饰可数或不可数名词。

　　There is no water in the well.

　　井里没有水。

　　②none“一个(点)也没有”，强调数量概念。三者或三者以上的人或物中“没有一个”，指人或物与of连用修饰名词或代词作主语;修饰不可数名词时，谓语动词用单数;修饰可数名词时，谓语动词单复数皆可。回答how many/much及含any+n. 引起的疑问句。

　　None of us enjoys(enjoy)getting up early.

　　我们没人喜欢早起。

　　—Is there any water in the bottle?

　　瓶子里有水吗?

　　—None.

　　没有。

　　③no one 名词词性，不与 of 连用;只能指人，但不具体指什么人。作主语时，谓语动词只能用单数;回答who及含有anyone，anybody引起的疑问句。

　　—Is there anyone in the room?

　　有人在教室里吗?

　　—No one.

　　没有。

　　④nothing“什么也没有”只能用来指物，强调内容;谓语用单数;回答含anything的一般疑问句及what引起的特殊问句

　　—What is in the box?

　　盒子里有什么?

　　—Nothing.

　　什么也没有。

　　注意：all，every，each，both，many，much，everybody，everyone 等与not 一起构成部分否定，not 的位置既可在名词之前，也可在谓语之中。例如：

　　Both of the substances do not dissolve in water.

　　这两种物质并不都溶于水。
